Own Sleep Medicine has Board Certified Sleep Medicine Physicians who offer telemedicine appointments to help patients with suspected obstructive sleep apnea get their diagnosis and treatment fast and conveniently.
What is a telemedicine appointment like?
With a telemedicine appointment at Own Sleep Medicine, you’ll connect to an online patient room. You’ll see your Board Certified Sleep Medicine doctor face-to-face for the appointment, and it’s a completely private visit. During the visit, the doctor reviews your medical records, asks questions about your sleep symptoms, and discusses the next steps in diagnosis and treatment. In many cases, the next step is a Home Sleep Test, which theour doctor can prescribe during the appointment. Once the appointment is completed, you can pick up the Home Sleep Test or have it delivered to your doorstep in just a few days. After your two nights, you’ll return it to Own Sleep Medicine who will process your results and contact you within two business days with next steps.
